Every year, Teacher Appreciation Week highlights educators that provide vital contributions to our communities and is celebrated during the first full week of May.
Optimum is proud to participate and recognize teachers’ hard work and dedication through meaningful contributions designed to enrich education.
Since initiating their partnership in 2020, Optimum and the National Education nonprofit, DonorsChoose have collaborated to empower educators and enhance student learning opportunities.
In 2025, Optimum is reaffirming our commitment by providing over $60,000 to fund more than 200 teacher projects during Teacher Appreciation Week 2025.

Optimum has funded almost 15,000 projects in more than 6,000 schools, since 2020, through our ongoing partnership with DonorsChoose by emphasizing S.T.E.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) education initiatives. This targeted support underscores Optimum's dedication to fostering innovation and preparing the next generation of innovators and creators.
