Northern Arizona University Athletics Sponsorship - Flagstaff, AZ Oct - Nov.
Optimum was proud to be the Title Sponsor for the The Ponderosa - Northern Arizona University Athletics (nauathletics.com) pavilion, with Optimum representatives present during three home games this season to host tabling opportunities for fans and attendees. Inside the stadium, Optimum sponsored digital assets including ribbon banners and end zone signage for the Ponderosa. This was a wonderful partnership to highlight the rebrand from Suddenlink to Optimum, as the games drew over 5,000 Jacks fans.
Hispanic Alliance Business Achievers Award Ceremony and Luncheon - Tyler TX- Nov 29
On Nov 29th, Optimum's A4, B2B, Enterprise, Customer Retention, and LME departments celebrated the achievements of Hispanic business owners across the Tyler, Texas area. Martin Rodriguez, Director of Customer Retention, and a member of Optimum's La Voz Unida Affinity group took the stage to celebrate Optimum's title sponsorship and share how important diversity and the Latino community are to Optimum. Los Tyler Hispanic Business Alliance luncheon and awards celebration was an incredible event.
American Cancer Society Check Presentation - Tyler, TX - Oct 26
Optimum contributed $10,000 to the American Cancer Society as part of the Optimum Cares initiative, in the Texas area. Over 70 employees gathered at the Optimum West call center in Tyler and chanted "Optimum cares!" to celebrate Optimum's check presentation to the American Cancer Society. Optimum Cares is a series of events and donations emphasizing how Optimum supports the communities it serves.
Cabotfest - Cabot, AR - October 7-8
Thousands attended Cabotfest in Cabot, AR where attendees enjoyed music, carnival rides, and shopping with vendors. Optimum continued to connect with the Cabot community by giving away swag items at its booth. Hundreds of people stopped by to talk about the rebrand from Suddenlink to Optimum and to inquire about the Programa de Conectividad Asequible, a Federal program which offers a subsidy of up to $30 per month for qualifying customers to put toward their Internet bills. Additionally, the Local Market Engagement team partnered with the Mid-South Field Operations team to offer free Wi-Fi service to Cabotfest attendees.
Homeless Shelter Receives New Tech Corner for Children - Charleston, WV - November 3
In November, the YWCA Charleston unveiled the new Optimum Technology Corner at the Sojourner’s Shelter for Homeless Women & Families. Optimum’s $6,000 donation allowed the organization to purchase six new desktop computers, monitors, speakers, and web cameras to provide better access to technology for children staying at the facility.
MumFest - New Bern, NC - October 8-9
MumFest is recognized statewide as a major festival in eastern North Carolina. This two-day event brought nearly 80,000 festival goers together to enjoy the festivities, locally made arts and crafts, and delicious North Carolina food. Optimum's Hospitality tent was located in the heart of downtown New Bern where visitors learned about Optimum's products and services, played cornhole, spun the prize wheel for some great swag, entered to win a Yeti cooler, and grabbed some snacks.
