Blues and Brews - Flagstaff, AZ - June 10 - 11
Optimum was a sponsor of Blues and Brews this Summer which included the WiFi tent and Kids Zone. The event is held annually with Mt. Elden as its gorgeous background. This event includes a vendor fair, local breweries and Blues Grass Bands from around the country.
Camp Invention - Lubbock, TX - June 13-17
Optimum was a scholarship sponsor for children to attend Camp Invention in June. Camp Invention is a one-week enrichment program in the summer where your child's creativity, innovation, and problem-solving skills are challenged and developed in fun and exciting ways. The top priority is to inspire future innovators and build confidence in the natural ability to dream and create.
La Raza on the Plaza - Lubbock, TX - July 1
Optimum was a sponsor of LaRaza on the Plaza, in partnership with Ramar Communications. This festival kicked off the July 4th holiday weekend and featured the heritage of Tejano music that runs deep in Lubbock. The festival featured vendors, music, food and beverages.
Lubbock Business Expo - Lubbock, TX - May 26 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Optimum was a sponsor of the Lubbock Chamber Business Expo in May. This was a great opportunity for our Team to educate the locals on our upcoming rebrand campaign and reconnect them with all of our products and services.

Red Dirt Festival - Tyler, TX - May 7
The Red Dirt Festival in Tyler, TX was the perfect coming together of five different Optimum departments to support the local community and give back through T-shirts, giveaways, WiFi and job opportunities. We spoke with thousands of Tyler area residents, threw T-shirts into the crowd while sharing numerous reconnect points from the stage, and had a great time supporting the Tyler Community.
Optimum Zoo Day - Victoria, TX - March 26
The Victoria, Texas community enjoyed a complimentary zoo day paid for by Optimum. Nearly 1,000 people enjoyed the day at the zoo complete with giveaways from Optimum including T-shirts and swag.
Camp Invention - Bryan/College Station, Anna, Kingwood, Pflugerville, Huntsville, Prosper, TX, Weatherford, OK - June 13 - June 24, July 13 - July 22
Optimum recently provided funding for students to attend "Camp Invention" free of charge for 10 weeks across seven cities: College Station, Prosper, Huntsville, Pflugerville, Anna, Kingwood, TX and Weatherford, OK. This week-long program provided students in grades 1-6 STEM-related activities that promote creative thinking and problem solving.
STEM Scholarships - Prosper and College Station, TX - May 16
Optimum had the pleasure of awarding seven STEM Scholarships at award ceremonies in Prosper and College Station, Texas. These students will attend colleges and study a range of STEM fields, from Engineering to Medical Sciences. Optimum is all about supporting the future technologists of the world!
Freedom Fest - Terrell, TX - July 3-4
Optimum was proud to be a part of the patriotic celebration of Freedom Fest. Optimum sponsored the balloon glow and community stage and passed out thousands of free giveaways and T-shirts to visitors from around the area. We also discussed job opportunities and Optimum's enriched customer service commitment to festival goers.
Grand Opening of the BOSS House (Better Opportunity for Single Soldiers) - Fort Sill, OK - May 13
Recently Optimum had the opportunity to help single soldiers by offering complimentary television and internet services to Fort Sill’s B.O.S.S. House. (Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers) B.O.S.S.’s mission is to:
- Support the overall quality of life for single and unaccompanied soldiers
- Encourage and assist soldiers in identifying, planning, organizing, and conducting leisure and recreational activities of their preference
- Provide an opportunity for Soldiers to participate in and contribute to local communities
- Identify issues and provide a mechanism to recommend improvements through the chain of command
It is an honor to work with soldiers who give so much to our country. Retail Manager Shirl Sanders, Supervisor Tyler Rake, Fort Sill Retail Consultant Becky Becerra, Field Ops Tech Andrew Powell, and LME manager Curt Allison celebrated the grand opening.
Blueberry Festival - Nacogdoches, TX - June 10 - 11
The blueberries were abundant and the music was good at the annual Texas Blueberry Festival in Nacogdoches, Texas. Optimum was out sponsoring the main stage. We threw shirts into the crowd and spoke to thousands of fans. One of our supervisors even took second place in the annual pie eating contest. We love supporting and being a part of our local community.

Optimum Camp Inventions Week - Greenwood, MS, (Mosaic) St Joseph, MO, and Cabot, AR – June 27th - July 1st

This week-long program provided students in grades 1-6 several STEM-related activities that promote creative thinking and problem solving.
Watermelon Festival - DeRidder, LA - June 23rd - 25th
Hundreds of people from around the local community attended the Watermelon Festival and browsed the booths of numerous businesses including Optimum. Members from our Sales and LME teams spoke to attendees about Optimum's products and services while handing out ACP flyers and swag.
Stars And Stripes Festival - Greenwood, MS - June 30th
Optimum recently sponsored the Stars and Stripes Festival in Greenwood, MS. This Independence Day celebration, hundreds gathered for live entertainment, a veterans tribute, games, a fireworks show and more.
Optimum Sponsored The St. Joseph Mustangs - June 1st and July 9th - St. Joseph, MO
The St. Joseph Mustangs is a local minor league baseball team located in the heart of Saint Joseph, Missouri. Optimum set up booths for Opening Night and Rally Towel Night. The company's name was mentioned several times over the PA system. Additionally, our sponsored Trivia Speed Challenges were conducted between innings.
Police Appreciation Breakfast - May 12th and June 8th- Lake Charles, LA and Jonesboro, AR
Optimum showed appreciation to Lake Charles, LA and Jonesboro, AR's local police officers. Members from the Mid-South Leadership Team delivered breakfast to over 700 officers within the aforementioned markets.
Mid Atlantic – North Carolina Highlights
STEM Design Challenge and Invention Convention - Rocky Mount, NC - April 1, 2022
Middle school students grades 6-8 competed in the Twin-Counties STEM Design Challenge and the Invention Convention held at the Rocky Mount Event Center. For the challenge, the students created robotic Grievers based on the book "Maze Runner" using K'nex, which are versatile motorized construction building pieces. Students had to code the robot to escape the maze.
The Invention Convention competition encouraged students to create a new product that would attract customers. Once the new product was created, a prototype had to be produced using a 3D printer. Students prepared a business and marketing plan for the product.
Family Days at Tryon Palace - New Bern, NC - July 16 and August 13
Optimum partnered with the Tryon Palace to bring Family Days to the North Carolina History Center and the Tryon Palace in New Bern. Visitors enjoyed learning what a river town in the early 1800s was like through the Pepsi Portal to History, watched puppet shows and drum demonstrations and participated in craft activities.
Mid Atlantic – West Virginia Highlights
The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club - Charleston, WV - June 20-24 2022
Optimum sponsored STEM Week at The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club Charleston from June 20-24. Students learned about irrigation systems and designed a flood wall to protect a structure from a monsoon. That same week, on June 23, the new Technology Corner by Optimum was unveiled at the Club. The space features new computers, tables and chairs for the children to continue their education outside the traditional classroom.
Mountaineer Food Bank Veterans Table - Rock Branch, WV - June 7-9, 2022
More than a dozen Optimum team members packed 750 non-perishable food boxes for the Mountaineer Food Bank Veterans Table program. The program serves 1,250 West Virginia Veterans each month. Optimum donated $50,000 to the Veterans Table in late-December 2021.
