Optimum Awards Laptops to Pitt Community College VISIONS Students—Winterville, NC – March, 2021
For the second straight year, Optimum has partnered with Durham's Kramden Institute and the Pitt Community College VISIONS program to provide laptops to 80 new program participants. Each year, VISIONS brings a new group of Pitt County high school juniors into the program to offer them support and direction needed to graduate and transition into college.
Many students in this program don't have access to funds to purchase a new laptop and are having to use borrowed technology from the school. The laptops are given to the students to ensure they have the necessary tools to be successful in the classroom in order to graduate from high school and enter into post-secondary education.
