Optimum partners with Dave Campbell Texas Football for the Community Connections School of the Week Award (West Texas; November 2020-January 2021)  

For the second consecutive year, Dave Campbell Football and Optimum have partnered to spotlight 10 Texas high school football communities with the Community Connection School of the Week Award. For the past six weeks, fans and passionate community members cast more than 200,000 votes on TexasFootball.com in an effort to help lift their school to the top. Dave Campbell's Texas Football is proud to announce the Weiss Wolves as the recipient of the Community Connection School of the Year Award presented by Optimum. As a part of the recognition, Weiss High School (Pflugerville TX) will receive a $2,500 donation to support the Weiss Scholarship Fund.

32nd Annual ATHENA & Young Professional Awards and Chamber Annual Meeting (Flagstaff, AZ; March 2021)

Optimum proudly returns as a Platinum Level Sponsor for the 2021 Greater Flagstaff Chamber of Commerce’s 32nd Annual ATHENA & Young Professional Awards and Chamber Annual Meeting. The Annual Meeting & ATHENA Awards is the crown jewel of all the Greater Flagstaff Chamber of Commerce events. It is attended by leaders and influencers from all over Northern Arizona. During the course of the program, members will receive an insightful economic update and glimpse into future Chamber work, honor the past year’s outstanding volunteers, and celebrate the nationally acclaimed ATHENA & Young Professional Award nominees and chosen recipients. 

Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra’s for the Home for the Holidays Gala (Flagstaff, AZ; December 2020)

Optimum was a major sponsor of the 2020 Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra's Home for the Holidays Gala. The event premiered online on Saturday December 12, 2020. The "virtual" Gala ran through the end of December. The musical program was simply amazing and provided a lovely holiday presentation.

Sponsorship Support to the Glenshire Elementary School (Truckee, CA; December 2020)

In December 2020, Optimum provided primary sponsorship support to the Glenshire Elementary School in Truckee, CA. The 2020 Glenshire Parent Teacher Organization hosted their Annual Holiday (virtual) Breakfast. This event, typically the school's largest fundraiser, is used to engage the community while raising money to fund plans for the rest of the school year. Some of the education programs receiving support were:
 
•    Reading programs for all grades with individual reading goals 
•    Online math programs  
•    STEM and other science programs 
•    Electronics in the classroom, including sound amplification and e-books 
•    New teacher classroom set-up 

Six local ISDs receive $85k worth of iPads to increase access to virtual learning—Victoria, Bryan and Tyler, TX- October 29, 2020 

Optimum donated $85,000 worth of iPads to Bullhead City, Truckee Tahoe, Abilene, Amarillo, Lubbock and San Angelo as part of the company's commitment to education. These iPads will be used with Pre-K to second grade programs to assist with remote learning.
